Kateel: Navarathri festival from Oct 7
Mangaluru, Oct 03, 2021: The Navarathri festival will be celebrated at Kateel Sri Durgaparameshwari Temple from October 7 to 15.
In the backdrop of Covid, processions, cultural programs, and Saree distribution (on Lalitha Panchami) have been cancelled.
Navarahtri celebration starts on October 7. Special pooje on the occasion of Lalitha Panchami will be held on October 10. Moola nakshatra, Sharada Pooje is on October 12 and Mahanavami celebration will be on October 14.
On the next day (October 15), special pooje as part of Vijayadashami and Madhwajayanthi will be held, Hereditary Trustees K Vasudeva Asranna and Sanathkumar Shetty, Kodethurguthu stated.
