CFI urges Govt to address Guest Lecturers’ problem
Mangaluru, Oct 02, 2021: Demanding the government to immediately solve the problems of the Guest Lecturers, Campus Front of India activists submitted a memorandum today.
The activists submitted a memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner and also Tahshildars of Mangaluru, Puttur, Belthangady, Bantwal, and Moodabidri.
“After the lockdown the situation of these guests lecturers is pathetic. They have not been paid by the government since about 18 months. The government should immediately take note of this,” the memorandum stated.
“The guest lecturers should be promoted as permanent staff and all their pending payments should be released immediately,” it added.
CFI district leaders Hasan Siraj, Ashraf Porkodi, Musthafa Puttur, Gausiya, Sadiya, Nabil Moodabidri, Sadaf Belthangady, and others submitted the memorandum.
