Boy dies due to drowning in Byndoor
Udupi, Sept 26, 2021: A 12-year boy died due to drowning in Byndoor taluk on Sunday.
Police said 12-year-old Pannaga along with his neighbor Rajesh went out to play near the stream around 9.30 am.
While playing Pannaga fell into the water and drowned. Rajesh immediately rushed to the house of Pannaga and told about the incident.
Pannaga’s father Venkatesh Mesta came to the spot and took the boy out of the water. Though the boy was taken to the hospital, the doctors declared him dead. An Unnatural Death Report is registered at the Byndoor police station.
