Dr Ashwath Narayan inaugurates Govt Polytechnic College at Belapu

Udupi, Sep 25, 2021: Minister for Higher Education, IT-BT and Skill Development Dr. C N Ashwath Narayan asked the youths to opt for Polytechnic courses.

He was speaking after inaugurating the new Government Polytechnic College at Belapu of Kaup Taluk today.

“The curriculum needed for the 21st century is included in the courses. The course was designed after consulting the industrialists and experts. Karnataka has done for the first time in the entire country,” the Minister said and added that the Polytechnic education is designed as per the New Education Policy.

To improve the quality, the government will start a Comprehensive Learning Management System and internet-enabled smart classes. Also, the students will be provided with Tabs,” he declared. The science center will be inaugurated at Belapu in March 2022.

Union Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmer Welfare Shobha Karandlaje, Minister Kota Srinivas Poojary, Kaup MLA Lalaji Mendon were present.
