Ganesha Chaturthi celebrated at Udupi Sri Krishna Matha
Udupi, Sept 10, 2021: Sri Ganesha Chaturthi was celebrated at Udupi Sri Krishna Matha today.
The clay idols of Sri Ganesha were taken in a procession at Ratha Beedhi and brought into Sri Krishna Matha. The idols were installed at Badagu Malige and the Eastern entrance of Krishna Matha near Chennakeshava idol.
Matha priest Mudarangadi Lakshmish Bhat performed the Ganahoma (with 12 coconuts). Adamaru Matha senior pontiff Sri Vishwapriya Tirtha Sripadau attended the Yaga.
Paryaya Peetadhipathi Sri Eeshapriya Tirtha Sripadaru attended the special pooja. Padidana and Astadravyadana were given to the employees of the Matha.
