CFI seeks bus connectivity to rural areas

Mangaluru, June 30, 2021: Representatives of Campus Front of India (CFI) submitted a memorandum to the Additional Deputy Commissioner and KSRTC officials today seeking government bus service to all the areas in the district.

“While the government has initiated vaccination camps at Colleges, the students especially those from the rural areas are finding it difficult to reach college due to the absence of buses,” they stated.

“Meanwhile as there is no bus service in some of the villages and limited buses in many places, the student community is put in hardship, especially during the examination. Officials should consider these problems and take necessary steps and ensure bus service reaches even the rural areas,” CFI leaders said.

CFI City unit Secretary Muneer, Rural unit Secretary Ashraf Porkodi, and Rural unit Treasurer Sarfaraz were in the delegation.
