Mangaluru, June 24, 2021: With the state government proposing to resume Degree (Under Graduate) classes from next month, it proposes to organize special vaccination camps for the Under Graduate Students, teaching and non-teaching staff.

The state government has sent a letter to the district heads and BBMP chief on June 23.

Following this the government has asked the district administration and BBMP to take the following measures:

  1. Prepare a list of all the 12+ Colleges including Degree, Diploma, and ITI.
  2. Provide a detailed list of all the beneficiaries (students, teaching, and non-teaching staff after attesting it from the institution head). The institution head should appoint a Nodal officer for this purpose who will coordinate with the RCH officers.
  3. Based on the number of beneficiaries and availability of vaccines, Vaccination should be conducted at the College campus on the Work Place Vaccinate Site SOP model.
  4. Nodal officers should ensure beneficiaries are provided necessary details about the vaccination.
  5. Follow Governments Covid-19 guidelines.
  6. The district heads and BBMP chief should supervise by conducting meetings with the related officials.
