INS Kolkata arrives at New Mangalore Port with medical aid
Mangaluru, May 10, 2021: INS Kolkata arrived at Mangaluru Port with oxygen supplies as part of ‘Samudra Setu-II today.
This is the second Navy ship arriving at Mangaluru airport. On May 5 INS Talwar came with 40 Mt of liquid medical oxygen.
INS Kolkata which had left Kuwait’s Port Shuwaikh on May 5 reached New Mangalore Port at 2 pm today.
It carried 40 MT oxygen-filled in ISO tanks, 5 tons of oxygen cylinders, and 4 high flow oxygen concentrators
The entire shipment is delivered to Indian Oil Corporation Ltd for further necessary action.
