Govt invites suggestions on draft Coastal Zone Management Plan

Karwar, May 06, 2021: The Forest, Ecology, and Environment Department has invited suggestions and objections on the draft Coastal Zone Management Plan (CZMP) of Uttara Kannada district.

Chennai-based National Centre for Sustainable Coastal Management (NCSCM) has prepared the draft CZMP.
A copy of this draft is available at http://ksczma.karnataka.gov.in.

Department Regional Director Prasanna K Patagara has asked all the stakeholders and public to go through the draft and submit their suggestions, objects, and opinions to Special Director (Technical), Forest, Ecology and Environment Department, Door Number: 710, 7th floor, Multistoried Building, Bengaluru. They can also post an email to [email protected].

The draft was published on April 27. The suggestions and opinions should be submitted within 60 days from the date of notification.
