Campus Front of India condemns police highhandedness, demands action
Mangaluru, March 15, 2021: Alleging police highhandedness, Campus Front of India (CFI) held a protest at Mangaluru today morning.
The protestors alleged that some people under the influence of drugs had attacked the CFI students during the Zero Dropout Campaign.
“Instead of taking action against those who had attacked the students, the police arrested the victims and assaulted them in the police station. Senior officials should take necessary action and those police officials involved in highhandedness should be placed under suspension,” CFI State Committee member Sadhik Jarattar told the protest rally.
State Committee member Murshida declared a legal fight against the police highhandedness.
CFI Mangaluru vice president Ihtisham, treasurer Sulathan, Rural district president Sarfuddin Mangaluru, Secretary Ashraf Jokatte, and others were present.
