Congress holds Sankalpa Samavesha in Bantwal

Bantwal, Jan 06, 2021: Congress leaders in the state have come up with new measures to strengthen the party to fight BJP.

Realizing the need to strengthen the party at the grassroot level, Congress has chalked out plans like organizing the party at the ward level and also taking up region based issues.

KPCC president D K Shivakumar spoke about the party’s first Sankalpa Samavesha at Bantwal today.
Congress is holding the ‘Sankalpa Samavesha,’- divisional level party representatives’ convention in the four divisions of the state.

“Block units should work to ensure maximum membership for the Panchayat level party committees. Details of the members should be filled in the booklets,” Shivakumar said. Coordinators have been appointed who will keep a watch and see if the booklets are filled properly.

He also said that the district units should take up the local issues.
