Permission must for dairy farms and ‘Gow Shalas’
Karwar, Oct 07: Karnataka Municipality Commissioner M Priyanga has asked all the dairy farms and ‘Gow Shalas,’ in the Municipal to take mandatory permission from the Karnataka State Pollution Control Board.
“As per the National Green Tribunal (NGT) order all dairy farms and ‘Gow Shalas,’ with more than 10 cattle must get the Consent for Establishment (CFE) and Concent for Consentn (CFO),” Priyanga said in a press statement.
She has asked the public to inform the municipality of their farm and Gow Shalas.
