Kumta sees increase in COVID cases on Wednesday

Karwar, Sep 02: Kumta and Yellapura saw an increase in COVID cases on Wednesday.

Uttara Kannada recorded 119 new cases today.

Kumta and Yellapura recorded the highest with 21 and 17 cases respectively. They were followed by Haliyal (13), Siddapura (11), Honnavara (10), Joda (10), Bhatkal (9), Mundgod (9), Karwar (8), Ankola (6), and Sirsi (5).

The district did not report any deaths today.
