COVID-19: DK records 300-plus cases on Wednesday

Mangaluru, Aug 26: Dakshina Kannada district on Wednesday recorded a steep increase in the positive cases as well as deaths on Wednesday. 

With 314 cases the district crossed the 11,000 mark. The total number of cases in the district is 11,092. 

Meanwhile, 292 were discharged today (2 from COVID Care Centre, 245 from Home Isolation, and 49 from Hospitals).

Of the 11 deaths reported in the district today, 4 are from Mangaluru Taluk, one from Bantwal and 6 from other districts.
