New Delhi, Aug 19: In a major development in connection to Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, the Supreme Court has said that FIR registered by Bihar Police was correct and reference to CBI is lawfu, according to PTI.

PTI tweeted that the court stated that Bihar government is competent enough to transfer case to CBI for investigation and added that  jurisdiction of Mumbai Police conducting probe under Section 174 CrPC (enquire on suicide) is limited.

The Apex Court upheld transfer of Patna FIR to CBI in Sushant Singh Rajput case and added that if any other case is registered regarding Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, the same shall be probed by CBI only.
