COVID-19: 300-plus cases in Udupi

Udupi, Aug 14: Udupi district on Friday recorded five deaths and 322 cases.

According to the health bulletin, the total number of cases in Udupi is 7,497  of which 2,550 are active cases and 4,872 discharged. With today’s five deaths, the total number of deaths in the district has increased to 75.

Of the total cases today, Udupi taluk recorded 186 cases and five are from other districts. 

Deaths: 

A 63 year male from Udupi, a 86 year male, a 48-year male, a 48-year male, and 55 year male (all from Kundapur).
