Coastal Karnataka to witness very heavy rainfall: IMD
July 31: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert for the three districts of Coastal Karnataka.
The forecast issued at 1 pm on Friday has warned heavy to very heavy rainfall (115.6 mm to 204.4 mm) at most places in Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and Uttara Kannada district.
The orange alert has been issued till August 5 morning.
