Bus service to resume in Udupi
Udupi, July 21: Bus movement which was terminated in Udupi district following the sealdown last week will resume from Wednesday.
Udupi is not under lockdown. However the district administration had sealed down its borders and also cancelled bus service.
“The bus service will start from tomorrow. All the safety measures like ensuring social distancing wearing mask and sanitizing the bus and using sanitizers are mandatory. All the SOPs issued by central and state government should be followed,” Deputy commissioner G Jagdish said.
Jagadish said that the checkpoints at the borders would continue to keep a tab on the people.
“People can come only incase of emergency work or medical emergencies. There should not be unnecessary movement,” he said.
