Babasaheb Ambedkar’s 129th birth anniversary celebrated
Karwar, April 14: The 129th Birth anniversary of social reformer and architect of Indian Constitution Dr. B R Ambedkar was celebrated at Deputy Commissioner’s office at Karwar on Tuesday.
The event was held in a simple way in the wake of the lockdown.
Deputy Commissioner Dr. K Harish Kumar paid floral tributes to Ambedkar’s portrait.
District Superintendent of Police Shivaprakash Devaraj, Additional DC Mr Nagaraj Singrer, Deputy Director of Social Welfare Department Mr Purushottam were present.
At the event held in Mangaluru, Minister Kota Srinivas Poojary, MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, MLAs Bharath Shetty, Vedavyas Kamath and others paid floral tributes to
Dr. Ambedkar’s portrait.
