Cathay wins multiple accolades in AirlineRatings’ World’s Best Airlines for 2026 Awards
Bengaluru, March 20, 2026: The Cathay Group has secured multiple accolades in the 2026 World’s Best Airlines awards organised by AirlineRatings, reaffirming its position among the leading players in global aviation.
Cathay Pacific was ranked second in the World’s Best Full-Service Airlines category, while also winning awards for the World’s Best Business Class for its Aria Suite cabins and the World’s Best Airline-Branded Lounges.
In the cargo and low-cost segments, Cathay Cargo was named the World’s Best Airline-Branded Cargo Operations, while HK Express emerged as the World’s Best Low-Cost Carrier.

These latest accolades from AirlineRatings complement other recognitions received by the Cathay Group, including Cathay Pacific being ranked among the world’s top three airlines by Skytrax and its Economy class and inflight entertainment being named the world’s best last year. In 2025, Cathay Cargo was named the world’s best cargo operator by Air Transport World (ATW) and HK Express was named among the top three world’s most improved airlines by Skytrax.
