Monsoon watch:

The Northern limit of Monsoon continues to pass through Cannur, Combatore, Kanyakumari.
Conditions are favorable for further advancement of SouthWest Monsoon in some parts of Central Arabian Sea and Karnataka, remaining parts of Kerala and Commorin ara, some parts of Tamilnadu, Puducherry and Karaikal and South Bay of Bengal by Wednesday. 
It will be cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain or thundershowers in the Coastal Karnataka.
Cyclonic storm Nisarga: 
The severe cyclonic storm ‘Nisarga,’ over East Central Arabian Sea moved Northeastwards.
At 9.30 am it laid over east central Arabian Sea near Lat: 17.65 degree North and Long: 72.5 degree east about 115 KM south-southwest of Alibagh, 165 km South-Southwest of Mumbai and 395 KM South-Southwest of Surat.
The current intesnsity near center is 100-110 KMPH gusting to 120 KMPH.
It is very likely to move North-Northeastwards and cross North Maharasthra coast close to South of Alibagh during 0800 to 1000 UTC (1.30 pm to 3.30 pm ISD) of June 3rd as a severe cyclonic storm with Maximum sustained wind speed of 100-110 kmph gusting to 120 kmph.
Weather Warning for Fishermen for Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep area for next 24 hours from 6 am of June 3: 
Squally weather wind speed reaching 50-60 kmph gusting 70 kmph likely to prevail along and off Karnataka and Kerala coast and also Lakshadweep area. Fishermen are advised not to venture into sea.
Day 1(03.06.2020): Squally wind speed reaching 50-60 kmph is likely to prevail over Lakshadweep area and along & off Kerala coast. Squally wind speed reaching 50-60 kmph gusting to 70 kmph is likely to prevail over along & off Karnataka coast.
Day 2(04.06.2020) to Day 4(06.06.2020): Strong winds from Southwesterly direction speed reaching 45- 55 kmph likely to prevail over Lakshadweep area and along & off Kerala – Karnataka coast. Fishermen are advised not to venture into these areas during the period mentioned above.
INCOIS WARNING:
High waves in the range of 2.0 -3.5 meters are forecasted during 5.30 am on June 2 to 11.30 pm of June 4 along the coast of Lakshadweep Islands from Minicoy to Bitra.
Surface Current speeds vary between 38 – 77cm/sec.
High waves in the range of 2.0 – 3.5 meters are forecasted during 5.30 am on June 2 to 11.30 pm of June 4 along the coast of Kerala from Pozhiyoor to Kasargod.
Surface Current speeds vary between 38 – 77 cm/sec.

High waves in the range of 2.8 – 4.0 meters are forecasted during 5.30 am on June 2 to 11.30 pm of June 4 along the coast of Karnataka from Mangalore to Karwar. Surface Current speeds vary between 64 – 110 cm/sec

Day 1(03.06.2020): Gale wind speed reaching 80-90 kmph gusting to 100 kmph likely along & off northeast Arabian Sea. Squally wind, speed reaching 50-60 kmph gusting to 70 kmph is likely prevail over east central Arabian Sea along and off Karnataka-Goa coasts.
Sea conditions are very likely to be Very Rough to High over northeast Arabian Sea along & off south Gujarat and Maharashtra coasts.
Fishermen are advised not to venture into eastcentral & northeast Arabian Sea and along & off Karnataka-Goa-Maharashtra-south Gujarat coasts.
