COVID-19: 111 cases in Uttara Kannada

Karwar, Aug 23: Uttara Kannada district on Sunday recorded 111 cases and one death.

Of the total cases on Sunday, Honnavar recorded the highest (30) followed by Siddapura (25), Haliyala (18), Bhatkala (16), Mudgod (11), Karwar, Ankola and Kumta (3 each) and Sirsi (2). Yellapura and Joida did not report any cases. As many as 63 recovered patients were discharged today.

Mundgod also recorded one death on Sunday. 

Of the total 3,948 cases in the district, 868 are active and 3,040 are cured.
