Udupi gears up for CET Exam
Udupi, Aug 20, 2021: Udupi district administration is gearing up for the CET Exam, amidst Covid.
As many as 3,624 students will appear for CET at 10 exam centers in the Udupi district. The exam is scheduled for August 28 and 29.
Udupi DC G Jagadeesh chaired a meeting at his office to supervise the preparations for the exam.
“CET is being conducted amidst Covid. Guidelines set by the health department should be followed. Separate rooms will be reserved in the exam centers for those students with symptoms like cough, cold, and fever and those coming from the containment zone. Every student should undergo thermal scanning at the entrance of the exam center,” Jagadeesh told officers.
Those students suffering from Covid will be provided a separate room to write the exam. Transport facility will also be provided to them. These students should provide their details to Girish and Manjunath Bhat.
All the exam centers and the toilets on the premises should be sanitized before and after the exam. The local bodies should take these measures.
Additional DC Sadashiva Prabhu, DDPU Maruthi, DDPI N H Nagoor, Udupi Tahsildar Pradeep Kurdekar, and other officials were present.
